Nokia 5 Goes On Sale, Here Is Everything You Need To

HMD Global has finally announced the launch of Nokia 5 in the retail market. This process began on Indian Independence day 15 August in major Indian cities. This phone was launched in India in June for pre-bookings. And this will be its opening for retail markets.

The 10 prime cities that HMD Global has labeled as major are Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Calicut, Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune.
Nokia 5 has a fingerprint scanner on the home button. It has a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) display of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The gadget is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. And for opticals, it has a 13-megapixel camera on the back along with a flash and an 8-megapixel at the front.
In its marketing campaign, Nokia 5 is highlighted for “seamless aluminum 6000 series” body. It wraps around edges for a rounded shape, which the company puts as “perfect fit for those who need great design, specs at its price.” It measures 149.7×72.5×8.05mm and houses a 3000mAh non-removable battery.
Nokia 5 price in India is Rs. 12,499 (Around $194). Also, this smartphone is only available in a single RAM and storage SKU. For retail, Nokia 5 will sell only in a Matte Black color variant. Other colors of Copper, Silver, and Tempered Blue will be on sale eventually later. Launch offers include a bundled Vodafone 5GB data plan at Rs. 149 per month (for 3 months), and Rs. 2,500 off (Rs. 1,800 on hotels & Rs.700 off on domestic flights) on Makemytrip.com are also offered with it
